Road America isn’t just a must-visit for motorsport fans, it’s the ultimate summer weekend destination for adventure seekers, food lovers, and anyone craving a quintessential Midwestern escape.
From August 15th to 17th, SRO America is bringing its multitude of championships to this legendary Wisconsin circuit, with over 100 race cars competing across GT World Challenge America powered by AWS, GT America powered by AWS, Pirelli GT4 America, TC America powered by Skip Barber Racing School, Toyota GR Cup North America, and McLaren Trophy series. These very same machines will also take over the streets of Elkhart Lake on Thursday, August 14th for SRO America’s annual full-field parade and street festival.
But the action doesn’t stop at the track. With stunning lake views, charming small-town vibes, acclaimed restaurants, and a variety of outdoor adventures, we’ve gathered everything you need to make the most of your weekend in Wisconsin.
The National Park of Speed
Nestled within Wisconsin’s Kettle Moraine region, Road America has earned its place as one of North America’s premier natural-terrain road courses. Spanning 4.048-miles, this old-school track winds through dense woods, open fields, and big elevation changes, making it a well-known favorite for drivers as it presents a unique and unforgiving challenge.
Road America has maintained its classic layout while growing into a world-class motorsport destination. The track hosts everything from high-powered GT competition, to open-wheel racing, to vintage car festivals and motorcycle events, all set against a backdrop of towering trees and bright blue summer skies.
