ACI Motorsports is excited to announce that Ryan Yardley and Damir Hot will team up in the #25 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport for the SRO Pirelli GT4 America Series at VIRginia International Raceway (VIR). The pairing brings a proven combination of talent and chemistry to ACI’s ever-growing GT4 program.
This dynamic duo has already found success together, securing a podium in their first attempt in the Porsche Endurance Challenge North America at Circuit of the Americas in May.
New Zealand racer Ryan Yardley enters the weekend with a standout resume, most notably finishing runner-up in the 2023 Porsche Carrera Cup North America after a hard-fought title battle. He’s continued that momentum into 2025 with a race win and seven podiums already in this year’s Carrera Cup season. While VIR will mark his GT4 debut, Yardley’s pace and adaptability make him one to watch on any platform.
“Super excited to be joining ACI Motorsports and teaming up with Damir Hot for GT4 America at VIR. It’ll be my debut in the championship, so I’m looking forward to the challenge and seeing how we stack up against some really strong lineups,” shared Yardley.
“We had a great first outing together in May at the Porsche Sprint Challenge Enduro and are hoping to build on that success. It’s definitely going to be a bit of a jump, with neither of us having seat time in the Porsche Caymans, but we’re both up for the challenge and ready to dive in,” added Yardley.
Last year's SRO GT4 Rookie of the Year, Damir Hot has earned podiums in every series he's entered, including four podiums from four attempts in GT America, three in Pirelli GT4 America, and three podiums in various one-off appearances in Porsche 992 GT3 Cup machinery.
“VIR was the site of my first GT4 podium, so I have some really good memories there,” said Hot.
“After spending so much of last season staring at ACI rear bumpers, I'm excited to join Curt and the whole team and see what we can accomplish together."
Team owner and principal Curt Swearingin will be racing alongside Hot and Yardley in next weekend’s race, with co-driver Riley Dickinson in the No. 7 sister car.
“It’s been incredible to see how quickly our GT4 program is growing, and bringing in Ryan and Damir for VIR really raises the bar,” said Swearingin.
“Both bring exceptional skill and professionalism to the team. Together, we’re building something truly special at ACI. This lineup reflects our commitment to excellence and our ambition to compete at the highest level.”
The No. 25 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport will run the same livery as ACI's full-season No. 7 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport, so fans and competitors should prepare to do a double take in the paddock and on track.
