Fast Track Racing, the successful Texas-based sports car team that has won several SRO national road racing championships, returns to the SRO Pirelli GT4 America competition next weekend (March 28-30) with drivers Nate Cicero and Stuart McAleer in the No. 28 JAG New York Fine Jewelry/Garfunkel Wild Healthcare Attorneys BMW M4 GT4 EVO mount.

The team is entering its fan favorite 2024 BMW M4 GT4 EVO—a top contender in the GT4 class—in two, 60-minute featured events at Sonoma Raceway’s 2.52-mile, 12-turn road course: Race 1 on Saturday, March 22, at 5 p.m. PDT and Race 2 at 11:35 a.m. PDT on Sunday, March 23rd.

Racing enthusiasts can follow the full practice and the racing schedule starting Friday, March 28 at 12:35 p.m. PDT and 5:15 p.m. PDT with qualifying on Saturday, March 29, at 10:25 a.m. PDT. Sonoma Race 1 is set for Saturday at 5 p.m. PDT with Race 2 on Sunday, March 30, at 11:35 a.m. PDT and with all the action live via https://www.gt4-america.com/.

We have seen Stuart and Nate’s speed in other series, and we’ll work hard this year to put them on the podium and victory lane in the Pro-Am class. We are ready for the Sonoma opener and the entire season.”

Stuart McAleer Ready for Professional Driver Debut at Sonoma Raceway

Stuart McAleer, the younger brother of champion winning driver Stevan McAleer and Nate Cicero’s driving coach since 2016, is no stranger to racing. Starting out racing go karts when he was 13 years old in Scotland, McAleer moved to the United States in 2014 to pursue his racing career. Since then, he has racked up impressive Pro Spec Miata titles at various tracks such as Sebring International Raceway and Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. Simultaneously, McAleer has helped dozens of aspiring racers through various programs—he started the McAleer Racing karting program with his brother Stevan McAleer and continues to serve as driver coach at McCumbee McAleer Racing.

“This debut at Sonoma is an unbelievable opportunity to take on one of the toughest classes on the national stage,” said McAleer. “I couldn’t feel more ready—I’ve had my brother’s lifelong mentorship and his firsthand experience in SRO GT4 America to learn from, an incredible machine and Toby’s team behind me with Fast Track, and a rock-solid partnership with Nate that we’ve built over the years. Everything has come together at the perfect time, so I’m ready to rock and roll and make it happen.”

Nate Cicero Expands Horizons with SRO Debut

Nate Cicero, a multi-time karting champion, jumped on the road racing scene in 2021 when he captured the Mazda Spec MX-5 Scholarship and was 2022 Mazda MX-5 Cup Scholarship champion. In 2023, Nate won the Mazda MX-5 Cup “Rookie of the Year” honors and he made his IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge debut in 2024 with McCumbee McAleer Racing team.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Fast Track Racing alongside Stuart for SRO GT4 America as I take the next step in my racing career with SRO and GT4 competition,” said Cicero. “Stuart has been part of my journey since I started racing, and I have incredible respect for him—not just as a driver, but as a mentor and coach. Now that we’re sharing a car as teammates, I’m embracing the moment.

The Fast Track Racing team will be on track at Sonoma Raceway beginning with practice rounds for the GT4 America drivers scheduled for Friday (March 28) at 12:35 p.m. PDT and 5:15 p.m. PDT with qualifying on Saturday (March 29) at 10:25 a.m. PDT. Sonoma Race 1 is set for Saturday at 5 p.m. PDT with Race 2 on Sunday (March 30) at 11:35 a.m. PDT.
