Three Hours of Thunder as Pirelli GT4 America Heads to COTA for the Lone Star Enduro

The 2025 Pirelli GT4 America championship is saddling up for a return to Circuit of The Americas, joining the SRO America stampede for an action-packed weekend in Austin. This marks the second edition of the Lone Star Enduro, with 30 cars set to charge into battle across the Silver, Pro-Am, and Am classes for a three-hour race.

The championship is heating up fast as GT4 America drivers prepare to tackle the technical twists and high-speed straights of COTA. With podium spots and early-season momentum on the line, the fight for class honors is expected to be fierce.

Pirelli GT4 America joins over 120 cars competing across six series, bringing high-stakes action and nonstop drama to fans in the stands and around the world.

Aston Martin

Two teams took the Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 EVO to the podium last time out at Sonoma, with JMF Motorsports scoring double P2 finishes in the Silver class with their No. 4 entry, and Skip Barber Racing secured the Am class win in Race 2.

FASTMD Racing with Remstar are adding to the grid’s manufacturer diversity, representing the sole Audi R8 GT4 LMS in the field.

BMW

BMW have gotten off to a strong start, with wins and podiums across all classes in the opening rounds. Notably, Random Vandals Racing swept the win in the Silver and Pro-Am categories in Race 2 at Sonoma, and are heading into COTA in great form. The BMW M4 GT4 (G82) is a powerful platform, and the manufacturer took the victory in the inaugural edition of the Lone Star Enduro last year.

After recently making the switch to McLaren Artura GT4 machinery, Blackdog Racing proved that they were able to get up to speed immediately, taking home the opening Pro-Am win of the year in stellar fashion.

Dome Motorsport, a newer entry on the grid, had a solid opening weekend in the series, combining seasoned experience with emerging talent behind the wheel of the Mercedes-AMG GT4. Looking ahead to COTA, they are prepared to take on the challenges ahead. Lone Star Racing, a familiar team in GT America powered by AWS, is also joining the grid for the event.

Porsche

Porsche teams further reminded the field of the strengths of the 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport, bringing the fight to the Global GT4 Manufacturers Championship by scoring multiple podium finishes thanks to the No. 7 ACI Motorsports entry.

Toyota

Strength in numbers was the name of the game for the Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO at Sonoma. RAFA Racing Team claimed a win and second-place finish in the Am class, and multiple teams were in contention for top 3 results across all categories. Additionally, Marco Polo Motorsports showed their impressive speed by earning an overall pole position.
