Pirelli GT4 America Set to Kick Off 2025 Season with Full Grid at Sonoma Raceway

The 2025 Pirelli GT4 America season is about to be brought to life at Sonoma Raceway, with a stacked entry list featuring top-tier teams and drivers ready to battle across Silver, Pro-Am, and Am classes. With a competitive mix of elite manufacturers taking to the grid, including Aston Martin, BMW, McLaren, Mercedes, Porsche, and Toyota, the stage is set for an exceptional opening weekend.
 
A total of 31 cars across three classes of competition, Silver, Pro-Am, and Am, will be awaiting the drop of the green flag to commence their 2025 campaigns, all vying for their first podiums of the season. This also marks the beginning of a new Global GT4 Manufacturers Championship format, featuring a refreshed points system. Six of the eight global manufacturers in contention will be present within the American division of the championship.

Nestled among Sonoma’s sweeping vineyards and sun-drenched landscapes, the stage is set for an exceptional weekend of racing ahead. As SRO America continues its rapid growth, over 120 cars across six series will take on the undulating California circuit to kick off the year in style.

Aston Martin

Aston Martin teams return in force, with more teams opting to utilize the Vantage AMR GT4 EVO. While some familiar faces will be back in action, a few new names are entering the arena for the first time, combined with some teams expanding their presence with additional entries.

BMW

BMW are showing their versatility across all classes, and further demonstrating that there is strength in numbers with the BMW M4 GT4 (G82). With many returning champions back in the mix, as well as Vice Champions with a point to prove, they are sure to be strong contenders for the title across all categories.

Porsche

Porsche teams are bringing a fierce lineup, fielding Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport entries as they seek to raise another challenge for the Global GT4 Manufacturers Championship. Notably, ACI Motorsports are doubling up their entries after becoming champions last year, while VPX Motorsport has committed to a full-season campaign.
