Archangel Motorsports are returning to the SRO America stage for the first time since 2023, and they are ready for a full season effort. They will be fielding the No. 15 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 in the Pro-Am class, with newcomer Adrian Comstock sharing the wheel with the highly experienced Thomas Merrill.
The team has seen a great deal of success across a wide variety of series and championships, accumulating wins at some of the most prestigious events in motorsports. Now, they are gearing up for a new challenge, and they are highly motivated and determined to embrace everything that is to come.
Adrian Comstock has been moving up the racing ranks over the years and is prepared for the task at hand as he enters the GT4 arena, guided by pro driver Thomas Merrill, who comes equipped with an incredible amount of knowledge and winning caliber, having claimed victories and titles globally in a wide variety of different machinery. The two have a formidable working relationship and are pushing for further success and driver development.
“We are super excited to return to SRO to compete in the Pirelli GT4 America championship with Adrian and Thomas in the new Aston Martin Vantage,” said Team Owner Mike Johnson. “Adrian is new to the series and professional racing so we will be guiding him along the way and with Thomas in the car, we hope to be fighting for podiums in short order."
“Thrilled to be transitioning from the already exciting karting and club racing levels of motorsport to continue my journey into the professional ranks under the wings of Archangel, Aston Martin Racing, and the multi-series Champion driver Thomas Merrill,” echoed Adrian Comstock. “I definitely feel the pressure, but I also can’t wait to step-up and make some achievements with this great team.”
“I’m stoked to be racing with Adrian and Archangel Motorsports this year in the new Aston Martin GT4,” added Thomas Merrill. “This will be the first big step in Adrian’s journey to top level racing and I’m honored to be making this step with him. We’ve got a lot of tough competition this year, but I know Mike Johnson and the boys at Archangel will always give us what we need to win.”
The team is set to take the track at the opening rounds of the season at Sonoma Raceway from March 28th to 30th, and they fully intend to make a statement.
