Capacity Grid Anticipated for Pirelli GT4 America in 2025

The excitement for the opening rounds of the 2025 Pirelli GT4 America season is at an all-time high, with new contenders, returning champions, and top tier manufacturer entries. Teams are locking in their lineups and preparing for the season opener at Sonoma Raceway, and the competition is shaping up for an intense year to come.

Silver Class

The Silver class is stacked with formidable challengers, including Auto Technic Racing, who enter the fray with the No. 52 BMW M4 GT4, featuring previous champion Zac Anderson and returning teammate Colin Garrett. RAFA Racing Team will unleash their No. 68 Toyota Gazoo Racing GR Supra GT4 EVO2, driven by Tyler Gonzalez and Gresham Wagner, while Marco Polo Motorsports brings the No. 71 Toyota Gazoo Racing GR Supra GT4 EVO, piloted by Nicolai Elghanayan and Mads Siljehaug.

JMF Motorsports continue their upward trajectory in GT4 competition, expanding their presence with two entries in the Silver class. The team will field the Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 EVO machines, with Jesse Webb and Jonathan Neudorf piloting the No. 3, while Braydon Arthur and Mike David Ortmann take the wheel of the No. 4.

After partaking in a few select events last season, VPX Motorsport re-enters the fight with the No. 77 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport, featuring a lineup of Danny Dyszelski and Alex Ellis. Random Vandals Racing will field the No. 97 BMW M4 GT4 once again, with 2024 Vice Champions Kenton Koch and Kevin Boehm back together.

Pro-Am Class

There are numerous returning talents in the Pro-Am field. Notably, Flying Lizard Motorsports is lining up their No. 5 Nissan Z NISMO GT4 with Damir Hot and Rodrigo Baptista. Meanwhile, ACI Motorsports is bringing the heat with two Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport entries, The No. 7 for 2024 class champion Curt Swearingin and new teammate Riley Dickinson, and the No. 9 for Dan Sibille and Loek Hartog.

Archangel Motorsports joins the action with the No. 15 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4, helmed by Adrian Comstock and Thomas Merrill. Rigid Speed Company will see the father-son duo of Joseph Catania and Lucas Catania behind the wheel of their No. 17 BMW M4 GT4.

Other strong contenders include NOLASPORT with the No. 23 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport for Michael Auriemma and Matheus Leist, Heart of Racing Team’s No. 26 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 EVO for Hannah Grisham and Hannah Greenemeier, and Fast Track Racing’s No. 28 BMW M4 GT4 for Nate Cicero and Stu McAleer.

McLaren’s latest GT4 machine is well represented, with Blackdog Racing’s No. 33 entry for Tony Gaples and Michael Cooper, P1 Groupe’s No. 43 entry for Alex Vogel and Matthew Bell, and TPC Racing’s No. 44 for Zoe Barry and Aurora Straus.

Dome Motorsport fields the No. 37 Mercedes-AMG GT4 with Edward Killeen and Marc Miller, while JTR Motorsports Engineering brings the No. 69 Toyota Gazoo Racing GR Supra GT4 for Anthony McIntosh and Parker Thompson.

BimmerWorld enters the mix with the No. 82 BMW M4 GT4 for James Walker Jr. and Tyler McQuarrie, and Random Vandals Racing will see Sam Craven and Josh Green piloting the No. 94 BMW M4 GT4. Auto Technic Racing are joining the Pro-Am BMW fleet, with Tyler Stone and Matt Million in the No. 53 machine.

Am Class

In the Am class, Skip Barber Racing is bringing the No. 07 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 for Alex Garcia and Michael Garcia, while BimmerWorld’s No. 36 BMW M4 GT4 features the great lineup of multi-time champions James Clay and Charlie Postins, who are eager to add another title to their list.

RAFA Racing Team’s No. 72 Toyota Gazoo Racing GR Supra GT4 EVO will be driven by Anthony Geraci and Kenny Schmied, while Random Vandals Racing enters the No. 98 BMW M4 GT4 with Paul Sparta and Michael Kanisczak. Carrus Callas Raceteam adds their No. 104 BMW M4 GT4 with Chris Walsh and a to-be-confirmed teammate. Thunder Bunny Racing rounds out the field with their No. 606 Toyota Gazoo Racing GR Supra GT4, featuring Allen Patten and Laura Hayes.
